I have been so bad at keeping this page updated. Averi has changed so much. We can't believe she is over a month old now! Since her surgery she has been doing alot better. We were able to hold her a couple times. She was eating really well and gaining weight. She is a little sick now so she has been set back on her feedings. Hopefully she gets better soon so she can go back to her routine. As of today she weighs 1 lb. 10 oz. and is 13" long. Thats pretty big considering she was 1lb. 4 oz. and 11 1/2" when she was born. She is getting so big. She keeps her mom and dad and nurses entertained with things she does in her incubator. When she is on her stomach she pushes her butt up in the air with her wobbly little legs as far as she can like she's trying to crawl out and make her great escape. She tries this for several minutes then she gets frustrated because she cant get her big head to move. Her most favorite thing is her binky. It takes up her whole face but she doesn't seem to mind.

Family photo. We finally got to hold her for the first time on Feb. 18th.

Hey Robert & Alicia,
Just wanted to let you know that we are thinking about you guys and your cute little Averi. She is so cute. We love the blog, now we can stop bugging John and Roxy all the time to see how you are doing.

Hi,
I don't know you, but I found your blog through Adam & Cami Ware's blog:) Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I will keep little Averi in my prayers. I had twin nephews that were preemies. One was 15 oz. and one was 1lb 10oz. They were in the hospital for a long time. Now they are 5 years old and have had very little side effects from their premature birth. It was a long hard road, but very much worth it. I'm excited to continue to read how your little girl is doing. Lucinda Wade
